La normativa regula el reconeixement i la transferència de crèdits en graus i màsters oficials de la UPV. El RD 534/2024 regula l’accés i admissió als graus universitaris. Estableix requisits per a batxillerat, FP, estudis estrangers i universitaris, majors de 25, 40 i 45 anys. També fixa l’estructura, qualificació i revisió de la prova d’accés, així com reserves de places.

La Llei 4/2007 ordena i coordina el Sistema Universitari Valencià. Regula les universitats, centres, instituts, adscripcions, registre, qualitat, titulacions i planificació. Crea òrgans de coordinació com el Consell Valencià d’Universitats i fixa criteris de finançament i oferta docent.
